Tired of wasting literally hundreds of dollars on make-up at Sephora, I set out to find the best over the counter make-up available.
Here's what I discovered.
Foundation: Revlon CoverStay 24-Hour Foundation ($11.99)
I've been using this foundation for a few years and have zero complaints! I think the coverage is flawless, the amount of times I have to powder my nose is minimal, and best of all, it doesn't cause break-outs!
Powder: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Pressed Powder with 20 SPF ($12.00)
Also won't cause break-outs, does its job proficiently.
Blush: Revlon Smooth On Blush ($9.79)
I wear this in Tawny Peach and love it!
Eyebrows: Elf Studio Eyebrow Kit ($3.00)
This kit comes with both a powder and cream based eyebrow filler and a small brush. It's convenient and compact for easy carrying.
Lip balm: Maybelline's Soft Lips ($2.99)
I originally purchased this with suspicion, but it really does enlarge your lips or rather, makes them appear more plump! It also keeps my lips hydrated all day. I wear it in Peach Kiss!
Lipstick: Revlon "Moon Drops" Lipstick ($6.99)
THIS PRODUCT is my FAVOURITE! I own so many lipsticks by Revlon. I also find it fascinating that they still provide the same lipsticks the Old Hollywood starlets wore! Click HERE to see classic Revlon shades!
Mascara: Wet n' Wild Mega Protein Mascara ($1.99)
My only complaint is that it seems to run out quickly, BUT it's a great product for the price!
Eyeliner: Elf Studio Liquid Eyeliner ($1.00)
Another product I'm enthusiastic about! I'll never spend 8 or more dollars on eyeliner again.
note: you can find all brushes and applicators at Target at a reasonable cost!
So, there you have it, a complete make-up collection for $50. I used to pay that alone on foundation!
Happy saving! :)
